Who we areBased at Kingholm Park, Dumfries, St Michael's Cricket Club is a small, dedicated club with two teams competing in the Scottish Western Union Divisions I and IV. We play hard to win but believe in enjoying the game and try not to take ourselves – or our website! – too seriously. For a club with modest means playing on its local Council ground St Michael's have a healthy tradition of overachievement and even the better Scottish teams needed to be wary of a trip to Fortress Kingholm! But we also have big plans for the future and are always on the look out for enthusiastic individuals, particularly talented cricketers of any age who can help us achieve our objectives.
During the season senior practices are on Tuesdays and Fridays 6.15 at Kingholm Park. All new players are welcome - especially if they're any good! Currently St Michael's Cricket Club subscriptions for adult players are set at £50 a year (concessions available for students, juniors, unemployed and non-playing members). Ask one of our club contacts for more details, or come along to our winter nets from mid-February. Find out more about our recent and not so recent past in our Archive section. You can also enjoy our Extras Pages and contribute to our interactive wiki once you have emailed us to register.
